


King Charles III hailed as ‘global inspiration’ after meeting COP29 President during reception on pollution

King Charles III has been hailed as a "global inspiration" after welcoming around 250 distinguished guests to St James's Palace for a reception focused on addressing super pollutants, GB News reported.
The reception, held in the Throne Room and organized by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, received praise from COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Elin Suleymanov, shared the COP29 President’s sentiments on social media, stating: "His Majesty The King's commitment to the environment is a global inspiration."
The King has spent more than half a century championing environmental causes and raising awareness of environmental challenges, while also speaking publicly about the importance of achieving the UK Government’s net-zero targets.
