Baku, August 7, AZERTAC
The results of admission for the 2026/2027 academic year to the international dual-degree program (BEU–INHA DDP), carried out between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and INHA University of the Republic of Korea, have been announced.
Nearly 500 applicants registered for admission to the program, of whom 363 took part in the internal entrance examination. Based on the results of the written examination held by INHA University on August 4, 2026, in mathematics, physics, and English, 104 students were admitted to the program. Admission was carried out for the specialties of "Information Technologies," "Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence Engineering)," "Data Analytics," and "Electrical and Electronics Engineering," with 26 students admitted to each. As a result, the admission plan allocated for the BEU-INHA DDP has been filled 100 percent.
The academic performance of the admitted students once again confirms the high level of interest in and competition for the program. Specifically, of the 104 admitted students, 28.8% scored above 600 and 57.7% scored above 500.
The highest result was achieved by Javad Javadzade, admitted to the "Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence Engineering)" specialty with a score of 676.2. The highest scores in the other specialties belong to Kanan Balakishiyev in "Data Analytics" (655.9), Yadulla Nasirova in "Information Technologies" (648.3), and Said Gafarov in "Electrical and Electronics Engineering" (628.1).
The list of candidates who succeeded in the internal examination has been submitted to the Ministry of Science and Education, and they have been automatically registered by the State Examination Center (SEC). As a result, these candidates no longer need to separately take part in the SEC's specialty selection (coding) stage.
The BEU-INHA DDP has been successfully implemented since 2020 within the framework of the "State Program for Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019–2023," approved by the relevant Order of the President of Azerbaijan. By Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated July 22, 2025, the implementation period of the program has been extended until 2030.
Within the program, carried out on the basis of a 3+1 educational model, students continue the first 3 years of their studies at BEU and the final 1 year at INHA University. Graduates who successfully complete their studies are awarded bachelor's diplomas by both universities.
It should be noted that, over the 6 years of its implementation, a total of 256 people have graduated from the BEU-INHA DDP to date.
