


Turkish journalists visit Alley of Honors, “Turkish Martyrdom” monument in Baku

A delegation from Türkiye, comprising representatives of the country’s media outlets, visited the Alley of Honors, and the “Turkish Martyrdom” monument in Baku.
The visit took place as part of the program titled "Geography of Peace: Garabagh – Reconstruction, Stability and Regional Cooperation in the South Caucasus," jointly organized by the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Friendship, Cooperation and Solidarity Foundation (TADIV) and the Intercultural Network Association (INA).
The Turkish journalists first paid tribute and placed flowers at the graves of Azerbaijani heroes, who sacrificed their lives for their country’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
Subsequently, they visited the “Turkish Martyrdom” monument and commemorated the heroic Turkish soldiers who died in the battles for the liberation of Baku from the Bolshevik-Armenian Dashnak troops in 1918.
