“Azerbaijan’s accession to the format of consultative meetings of the Heads of States of Central Asia brings our interaction to a qualitatively new macro-regional level,” said President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Informal Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and the Central Asian countries in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
"We have now a historic window of opportunity to establish a common space for development that brings together Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and our close neighbor, Afghanistan. It is imperative that we capitalize on this moment to jointly lay a resilient foundation for sustainable interconnectivity and regional cooperation in the very heart of Eurasia," the President of Uzbekistan noted.
