The First Turkological Congress remains in history as a landmark event that ushered in a new era in the scientific, cultural, and social development of the Turkic peoples, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said in his address to the participants of the Turkic World Week dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress held in Baku.
The address stated: " We regard the holding of this forum together with representatives of the Turkic world as a manifestation of our deep respect for the common values that unite the Turkic peoples. This will be an important historical step toward further strengthening friendship and unity among the Turkic peoples."
