The Azerbaijani women's volleyball team earned a hard-fought victory in their Group C fixture at the European Volleyball Championship, beating Romania at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.
Azerbaijan produced a thrilling performance before a home crowd to edge out a 3–2 victory.
With 8 points on the board, the Azerbaijani national team remains at the top of Group C.
This victory marks the national team's third consecutive triumph in the tournament campaign, following their 3:1 victory over Portugal and 3:0 over Spain.
Azerbaijan will face Belgium and the Netherlands in their upcoming fixtures.
