Representatives from 100 countries in industrial kitchen sector gather in Istanbul for Hostech Fair

Hundreds of industrial kitchen companies from 100 countries are in Istanbul for the 25th Hostech Fair that began Wednesday, according to Anadolu Agency.
The five-day event will host sector representatives including, hotels, restaurants and cafes.
It is expected to generate $1 billion, according to a statement from the organizer -- the Industrial Kitchen, Laundry, Service and Catering Equipment Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (Tusid).
About 600 firms will exhibit products and services and 2,000 buyers will participate in the event.
Tusid’s head, Guclu Kaplangi, said during the opening ceremony that Türkiye is among the top five exporters in the field.
China is the leading country with $160 billion, while Türkiye's exports totaled $2.45 billion last year, he added.
