An Iranian delegation led by Minister of Sports and Youth Ahmad Dunyamaly, is visiting Azerbaijan.
The delegation first visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and then the Alley of Martyrs and the Victory Monument.
Subsequently, Farid Gayibov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Youth and Sports, held a bilateral meeting with a large delegation.
The sides discussed cooperation opportunities in the fields of youth and sports, exchange of experience, as well as organization of mutual visits.
The meeting concluded with the signing of the "Action Plan for 2026-2028 on the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the fields of youth and sports between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Sports and Youth of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
