


Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports addresses Phygital Sports Summit Astana 2026

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov visited Kazakhstan to attend the Phygital Sports Summit Astana 2026 international sports summit, held at the "Alem.AI" International Artificial Intelligence Center in Astana.
As part of the Summit, Minister Farid Gayibov addressed the session on "Shaping the Future of Phygital Sports: State, Politics and Global Leadership.
Following the event, the participants watched the official opening ceremony of the Future Games, which was attended by the Presidents of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan
As part of the visit, Farid Gayibov also held bilateral meetings with Minister of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan Yerbol Myrzabosynov and Minister of Sports of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov.
Visiting the Secretariat Headquarters of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Farid Gayibov met with outstanding young volunteers who actively participated in events organized over the past two years under the Azerbaijan-chaired CICA Youth Council.
During the meeting, the young people were provided with detailed information about the activities of the CICA Secretariat, the key priorities of the organization, and career opportunities in international organizations.
Minister Farid Gayibov also met with CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybay to exchange views on the current state and prospects of cooperation in the field of youth.
