


Azerbaijan joins international summit on phygital sports in Astana

The Phygital Sports Summit Astana 2026 event has commenced in the capital of Kazakhstan as part of the program for the Games of the Future 2026.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov attended the event.
Yerbol Myrzabosyynov, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Tourism and Sport, addressed the opening ceremony of the summit which brought together sports ministers of the UAE, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Belarus, as well as representatives of international sports organizations, representatives of technology companies and experts from various countries.
The event program includes panel sessions on the development of physical education sports, international cooperation, digital technologies, innovation, and prospects for the sports industry.
The summit is expected to become a platform for exchanging experiences and developing joint solutions for the further development of the international physical education movement.
