On July 13, a delegation led by Cristian-Augustin Niculescu-Țâgârlaș, a member of the Romanian Senate from Maramures region and a member of the Romanian-Azerbaijani interparliamentary friendship group, visited the city of Khankendi.
During a meeting, Elchin Yusubov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi, the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, informed the delegation about the large-scale restoration and reconstruction works in the liberated territories.
The Romanian delegation hailed the reconstruction works carried out in the liberated territories in a short period of time adding that they were impressed by ongoing and modern infrastructure in the region.
