Gabala city’s mesmerizing nature in spotlight of Swedish Cawa Media agency

Swedish Cawa Media journalist and press agency has posted an article dedicated to the pearl of Azerbaijan - Gabala city.
Headlined “Gabala - Norra Azerbaijan”, the article highlighted the ancient history of Gabala, describing its fascinating nature and culture.
The author drew the readers’ attention to the 500-year-old chestnut groves, saying that some of these trees are included in the list of protected natural monuments and sites. The article highlighted Azerbaijan’s highest peak - Mount Bazarduzu, Juma and Haji Gharib mosques, Albanian churches in Boyuk Amili and Nij villages.
The author also mentioned the Udi people, who live compactly in Nij village, noting that this ethnic group, considered the descendants of the ancient Albanians, have preserved its traditions, language, as well as spiritual cultural heritage of its ancestors hitherto.
“Zop-Zopa” Folklore Ensemble, established in Bum village, is also in the spotlight of the article.
