Combined Arms Army holds volleyball championship among military personnel, Defense Ministry

The volleyball championship has been held among the military personnel of the Combined Arms Army at the Nakhchivan Olympic Sports Complex, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
Speaking at the event, an officer of the Combined Arms Army Vahid Mammadov noted the importance of sports competitions organized for the purpose of achieving mass sports among military personnel, identifying strong athletes and teams, and wished success to the participants.
130 athletes from 13 teams fought in the championship organized under the motto "Serving to the country, people and state is the essence of our life".
The competitions held under the Olympic rules were managed by the referees of the Volleyball Federation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to the final results of the 6-day competition, the first and third places were taken by motor shooters, and the second place by special forces.
At the end of the volleyball championship, the winning teams were awarded.
