Cairo to host classical music concert marking 100th anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev

The Cairo Opera House will host a classical music concert marking the 100th anniversary of National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev.
The concert, organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Egypt, the Ministry of Culture of Egypt and the Cairo Opera House, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra and Cappella Choir under the artistic direction of Ahmed El Saedi, will feature works of famous Azerbaijani composers such as "Azerbaijan Capriccio" and " Concerto on Arabian Themes for Piano and Orchestra" by Fikrat Amirov, Gara Garayev's " Adagio" and "Seven Beauties" ballets, Soltan Hajibayov's "Caravan", Niyazi's "Concert Waltz", and Tofig Bakikhanov's "Good and Evil".
The conductor of the concert will be People's Artist of Azerbaijan Yalchin Adigozalov with People's Artist of Azerbaijan Yegane Akhundova performing as a piano soloist.
