As part of his visit to the Republic of Türkiye, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Adil Karimli has met with the country’s Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.
The ministers hailed development of cultural relations between the two countries. They described the friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries’ leaders as exceptionally important for developing of relations in all areas, noting that the high-level of bilateral relations contribute to the promotion of the common Turkic culture.
The two also stressed the significance of the events held within the year “Shusha - Cultural Capital of the Turkic World”, including the First Cultural Forum of the Turkic World.
The discussions also revolved around the organization of the joint cultural events, as well as the future activity of the Azerbaijan Culture Center operating under Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Türkiye, which was established under the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated October 6, 2023.
