Baku, November 8, AZERTAC President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva was awarded the highest diplomatic medal of Kazakhstan named after the outstanding statesman and diplomat of the country Nazir Tyuryakulov. The medal was presented to Gunay Afandiyeva by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu at the 10th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Turkic States in Astana. The President of the Foundation was awarded a medal for her activities to promote the ancient and rich culture of Kazakhstan at the international level, wide-scale popularization of its values, strengthening the country's integration with the Turkic world, as well as a for her contribution to the successful development of foreign policy.Attending the meeting, the Foreign Ministers of the Turkic States and heads of international organizations expressed congratulations and gratitude to Gunay Afandiyeva for her services in protecting and promoting the common heritage of the Turkic world and further strengthening solidarity between the Turkic peoples.
