Baku, November 7, AZERTAC A press conference of the of the 9th Baku International Book Fair was held was held here on Tuesday.The event was attended by Akif Marifli, Head of the book industry department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Bahruz Hidayatzade, Executive Director of Caspian Event Organizers.Representatives of the mass media and members of the organizing committee of the exhibitions were also present at the press conference. On 11-15 November 2023, Baku Expo Center is hosting the 9th Baku International Book Fair 2023, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and with the organisational support of "Caspian Event Organisers" company.The event is dedicated to the centenary of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of Azerbaijan.The Russian Federation is the honorary guest of the exhibition.The exhibition is bringing together 31 organizations from 11 countries and 131 domestic publishing houses and enterprises operating in the field of printing and book art.Company "Azercell" acts as a sponsor of the presentation zone at the 9th Baku International Book Fair.During the event, Azerbaijani publishing houses will be offering 30-50% discounts on their books.Visitors will be provided with special free shuttle buses to travel from the Elmlar Akademiyasi, 28 May, and Koroglu metro stations to Baku Expo Center.The fair program for each day has been posted at www.bakubookfair.com.The opening ceremony will take place on 11 November 2023 at 10:00 at Baku Expo Center.
