Baku, October 29, AZERTAC Under the instruction of Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, events on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye have been held, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC. During the events, the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and Shehids was honored with observing a minute of silence. The national anthems of Azerbaijan and Türkiye accompanied by a military orchestra were performed.As part of the events, socio-political training lessons were organized and videos dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye were shown.The speakers highlighted the solemn celebration of the Turkish Republic Day in Azerbaijan and noted that relations between the countries are based on a strong brotherhood.
