Russian TASS News Agency has organized a seminar for photojournalists from CIS news agencies.
At the invitation of the Agency, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Gilavar Photo Club Public Union, the international photographer Rashad Mehdiyev, the member of the club Elnur Abbasov and the employee of Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) Humbat Mammadov joined the seminar.
The seminar participants heard reports by the leading photographers of TASS news agency on news photojournalism, protocol recording and coverage of official events, video recording in the modern world, as well as were provided with practical assignments.
The participants also visited the administrative buildings of the TASS News Agency headquarters and Photo chronicle editorial office. The photographers familiarized themselves with the conditions created for the employees here.
Azerbaijan’s Gilavar Photo Club Public Union and Russian TASS News Agency also held discussions on the continuation of cooperation in the field of photography as well as conducting various trainings and projects.
