Supported by PASHA Holding Group of Companies, the delegation of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA) of Azerbaijan will participate in the Surge Summit, an event for startups and investors in the EECCA region, to be held in Tbilisi on September 5-7.
The Azerbaijani delegation includes well-known startups of Azerbaijan such as "Wideely", "Reluxe Collection", "Budgety", "Best.az" and "Perkskit".
Igor Ovcharenko, Chief Innovation Officer at Innovation and Digital Development Agency, and Mammad Karim, head of Caucasus Ventures, will deliver a speech at the event. They will brief the participants of the event about the startup ecosystem in Azerbaijan, as well as innovations, trends and their observations regarding the challenges faced by the ecosystem.
Surge Summit is a catalyst for driving positive change in the startup landscape of the Eastern Europe, Caucasus, and Central Asia region. The goal of the event is to provide a dynamic platform for startups and investors to come together, share ideas, and explore new opportunities.
This year, the event partnered with the USF, which underscores the dedication of building a vibrant, supportive, and collaborative community. Through this partnership, Surge aims to accelerate the growth of the EECCA region.
The event offers a wide variety of activities, including matchmaking sessions, expert panels, and networking opportunities, providing attendees with valuable insights and growth opportunities.
A highlight of Surge Summit is the pitch competition, where startups get the chance to pitch their solutions in front of investors. The winning startup can take home €20,000 equity free.
