Baku, July 6, AZERTAC As part of her visit to Switzerland, President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva has met with Turkish Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation Ece Acarsoy.The meeting was attended by the collective of the musical group "Seven Beauties", created under the auspices of the Foundation and consisting of professional musicians from 7 Turkic countries: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Hungary.During the meeting, the large-scale activities of the Foundation for the preservation and promotion of the rich culture of the Turkic world were noted. The active cooperation of the Foundation with various foreign, including European countries in this direction was emphasized. The holding of an event in Switzerland dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the great son of Azerbaijan and the entire Turkic world Heydar Aliyev, organized jointly by the Foundation and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Swiss Confederation, was highly appreciated. During the conversation, they emphasized that the successful performances of the “Seven Beauties” musical group, the artistic director of which is the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, pianist Turan Manafzade, were greeted by the Swiss audience with great ovations and applause.They also highlighted the events organized by the Foundation as part of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye. During the conversation, it was stressed that the projects implemented by the organization to promote the common Turkic cultural heritage at the international arena make an important contribution to cultural exchange between countries and peoples.
