China's official state news agency Xinhua has organized a media tour for foreign journalists accredited in the country to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in northern China to get to know China better.
The opening ceremony of the media tour themed “Silk Road along the Yellow River” was held in the city of Ordos.
The media tour aims to provide participants with detailed information about socio-economic development projects, economic reforms, lifestyle of the local population, cultural diversity, nature and tourism potential of the People's Republic of China (PRC).
The media tour participants, including AZERTAC’s employee have visited the industrial park powered by renewable energy in Ordos, the industrial park that produces clothes from the wool of rare cashmere goats, the wind turbine manufacturer, Dalat Photovoltaic Base made of 196,320 solar panels that was recognized by the Guinness World Records, the Engebei Ecological Zone as well as magnificent Juungar Yellow River Grand Canyon.
