Azerbaijani journalist living in Stockholm eyewitnesses Armenian atrocities committed in Aghdam

A journalist originally from Ardabil currently living in Sweden, head of Stockholm-based “Voice of Azerbaijan” radio station, Editor-in-Chief of “Tribun” journal, Director of “Azerbaijan Tribun” website, spokesperson of South Azerbaijan National Democratic Union Organization Alirza Ardabili has today visited Azerbaijan’s liberated city of Aghdam.
AZERTAC’s regional correspondent reports that journalist Alirza Ardabili was informed in detail about the history of Aghdam, the current situation, Armenian fascism unleashed in the district, as well as the vandalism against Azerbaijan's historical, religious and cultural sites by the employee of the Representative Office of Azerbaijani President. He was told that before the Armenian occupation, Aghdam was one of the largest and most developed cities not only in the Karabakh region, but in the entire country. However, after the city was seized by Armenia on July 23, 1993, all the residential infrastructure, including apartment buildings, kindergartens, schools, and hospitals were demolished, production facilities, as well as Aghdam’s Alley of Martyrs were looted and destroyed.
During the visit, Alirza Ardabili also viewed the ruins of the Imaret Complex, the Bread Museum, the Alley of Martyrs, the Drama Theater and the Juma Mosque in Aghdam.
