Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez joins Gremio

Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez has joined Brazilian club Gremio on a two-year contract until the end of 2024, the Brazilian club announced on Saturday, according to Anadolu Agency.
Luis Suarez, 35, played for popular European clubs including Ajax, Liverpool and Barcelona.
He clinched a famous treble – winning a domestic title, domestic cup, and UEFA Champions League – with Barcelona in 2015.
Suarez, who is the top scorer of Uruguay with 68 goals, is also the second most capped player for his national side with 137 appearances. The most capped Uruguayan is Diego Godin with 161.
