Representatives of diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan pay tribute to victims of Ganja terror

Heads of diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, as part of their visit to the city of Ganja, have visited the Ganja memorial complex to pay tribute to the victims of Armenia’s missile attacks on Ganja city and put flowers at the memorial.
The representatives of diplomatic corps were accompanied by the members of Azerbaijan’s Presidential Administration, the country’s Prosecutor General’s Office, as well as the leadership of Ganja City Executive Authority.
October 17, 2022 marks the second anniversary of Armenia’s fifth missile attack on Azerbaijan’s second largest city Ganja, as a result which 15 people were killed and 79 others were injured.
During the Patriotic War, on October 4, 5, 8, 11 and 17, the city of Ganja was hit by the Armenian armed forces from "Tochka-U", "Smerch", "SCUD" and other various missiles. As a result, 26 civilians, including 6 children and 10 women were killed, with 175 civilians, including 32 children, being heavily injured.
