Azerbaijani wrestler Heybatov crowned world champion

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Kanan Heybatov has won a gold medal at the U20 World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, after defeating American Mitchell Mesenbrink in the gold medal bout.
He secured the medal in the 70kg weight category.
Another Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Ziraddin Bayramov bagged silver for Azerbaijan in the 65kg weight class.
