Inter sign Bellanova from Cagliari
Baku, July 6, AZERTAC
Inter confirmed the signing of Raoul Bellanova from Cagliari on Wednesday, according to the Football Italia.
The right-back’s move to the Nerazzurri had been mooted for some time with reports in June a loan with an obligation to sign permanently had been agreed.
On Monday, he was seen having his medical before the move was officially announced two days later.
The announcement comes amid a busy period for Inter, who have announced several transfers in the past few days.
Last Wednesday, Inter confirmed the return of Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea and followed that up two days later by announcing the arrival of Kristjan Asllani from Empoli.
On July 1, Inter presented new goalkeeper André Onana, who joined from Ajax and Henrikh Mkhitaryan a later. The Armenian joined on a free transfer from Roma.
Bellanova, 22, started in Milan‘s youth team but made his professional debut at French side Bordeaux. After spells at Atalanta and Pescara, he signed for Cagliari in 2021 and made 31 appearances last campaign.
