Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has removed members of the Swiss Kuhner Foundation from the “List of foreign citizens who illegally visited the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
Head of the foundation Laura Kuhner (Switzerland), its members Tim Bürgin (Germany) and Gifty Dwamena (Switzerland) were removed from the blacklist after addressing a letter to the Foreign Ministry.
According to the ministry, in the letter, Kuhner Foundation emphasized its respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognized borders as well as for the rules and regulations in force in the territory of the country. Kuhner Foundation also said its members were unaware of the consequences of the visit.
