“The number of tourists visiting Azerbaijan on the eve of Formula 1 Grand Prix races increased 6-8 percent last year,” said representative of Azerbaijan Tourism Board Bahruz Asgarov.
He noted that Azerbaijan Tourism Board will launch a new campaign this year that will see the development of special tourist tours. “Since fans usually spend 3 or 4 days in Baku watching the races, they will be offered a total of 7-day trips to get familiarized with the country`s regions too,” he added.
