Azerbaijani movies screened at 39th Cairo International Film Festival

Azerbaijani movies “Pomegranate Orchard” by Azerbaijani filmmaker Ilgar Najafli and “A Man Of The Third Day” by Babak Shirinsefat were demonstrated as a part of the 39th Cairo International Film Festival.
Both movies were made at the order of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism by the Azerbaijan film studio named after Cafar Cabbarli and “Buta Film” Production Company.
The festival will run till November 30. Some 175 films from 53 countries are being screened in the festival.
The Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) is one of only 15 Festivals accorded as a category “A” status by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations FIAPF. It is the oldest and only internationally accredited cultural feature film festival in the Arab World, Africa and the Middle East.
