Rome, March 3, AZERTACThe 25th anniversary of Khojaly genocide was commemorated in the Italian city of Sicily. The commemorative event was organized by Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Italy, Honorary Consulate in Catania and local Alcantara children's symphony orchestra.In his remarks at the event, Azerbaijani Ambassador Mammad Ahmadzade drew the audience`s attention to consequences of Khojaly genocide, and Armenia`s military aggression against Azerbaijan. He hailed the role of “Justice for Khojaly” campaign initiated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation vice president Leyla Aliyeva in increasing the world community`s awareness of the truth about Khojaly tragedy.The event also featured the screening of Endless Corridor film.
