Mild quake hits Azerbaijani sector of Caspian Sea

A mild earthquake has today hit the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, according to the Republican Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The earthquake was recorded at 07:22 local time in the Caspian Sea 156 km south-east from Gala.
The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.9 on the Richter scale, while its depth was 34 km.
The quake was not palpable.
