Azerbaijani, Spanish scientists sign cooperation agreement
Baku, May 30 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan and Spain are beginning to develop scientific cooperation.
The National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (AMEA) and the Spanish Royal Academy of Economic & Financial Sciences have signed today a memorandum of understanding. The agreement was signed during the current Baku symposium "Azerbaijani-Spanish relations: Looking into the future of the scientific research” which was attended by scientists of AMEA and the Royal Academy.
Addressing the symposium, AMEA president Akif Alizade expressed confidence that the signed memorandum of understanding would allow signing of specific agreements between the AMEA and the Royal Academy.
He added that the goal of the visit of Spanish economist scientists to Azerbaijan is to study and promote the prospects of investments in the economy of the country.
