Azerbaijan, Kuwait hail religious and moral ties

Baku, May 10 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan and Kuwait have praised their religious and moral relations as chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade met Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Adel Abdullah Al Falah in Baku.
Mr. Pashazade lauded Dr. Al Falah’s role in strengthening moral ties between the Azerbaijani and Kuwaiti people.
He noted the importance of moderate Islamic views promoted by Dr. Al Falah “taking into account the fact that fighting against radicalism and extremism is the key priority at the modern stage”.
Allahshukur Pashazade also commended the Kuwaiti Undersecretary`s attention to Azerbaijan and respect to national leader Heydar Aliyev`s legacy. Mr. Pashazade said Dr. Al Falah carried out a research on “Heydar Aliyev and national and moral values”, and attended many conferences on inter-faith dialogue and multiculturalism in Baku.
Dr. Al Falah praised Allahshukur Pashazade`s contribution to developing “the fraternal ties” between the Kuwaiti and Azerbaijani people and promoting inter-faith dialogue internationally.
The Kuwaiti Undersecretary vowed to further support Mr. Pashazade`s efforts on this front.
