Baku, April 25 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Heydar Asadov has met a Dutch delegation led by Member of Senate Rene van der Linden.
The Minister hailed development of relations in economic and political spheres, saying this paved the way for active cooperation in the field of agriculture.
Mr. Asadov praised projects carried out by the Netherlands in Azerbaijan.
He said Azerbaijan attached great importance to developing the bilateral relations in the field of agriculture, noting the significance of creating a legal framework for cooperation.
The Minister highlighted fruitful business environment in Azerbaijan.
Mr. Van der Linden said Azerbaijan had great potential for developing agriculture, saying the Netherlands was interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in this sector.
He invited Asadov to attend a business forum to be held in the Netherlands in October.
Dutch ambassador Robbert J. Gabriëlse said he would spare no efforts for further developing relations between the two countries in the agrarian field.
