Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Board meets British Ambassador
Baku, March 18 (AzerTAc). Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board (CMB) Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade has met British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Irfan Siddiq.
Allahshukur Pashazade provided an insight into the religious tolerance in Azerbaijan. He said representatives of various religious communities had lived in an atmosphere of peace and cooperation in the country for centuries.
“A secular state, Azerbaijan attaches a particular emphasis to preserving and promoting cultural and historical legacy, and strengthening religious tolerance, and developing multiculturalism.”
Allahshukur Pashazade also highlighted international cooperation of the Caucasian Muslims Board.
