Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Board to attend conference of Muslim World League
Baku, March 2 (AzerTAc). Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Board (CMB) Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh will attend a conference the Muslim World League, which kicks off in Saudi Arabia Sunday.
Allahshukur Pashazadeh will deliver a speech at the conference titled “Muslim world – problems and ways of solutions: Muslim solidarity”.
On the sidelines of the event the chairman of Caucasian Muslims Board will meet Saudi officials, including the Minister of Hajj.
“The aim of the gathering is to urge Muslims to work with their governments for peace and stability in their countries.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah supports the conference,” said Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdul Mohsin Al-Turki, secretary general of the Muslim World League.
“The three-day meeting would be divided into seven sessions on several topics. Scholars, activists, academics, researchers and leaders of various social and Islamic organizations will participate in the conference.”
“The participants would discuss ways to tackle problems in various countries including Syria, Egypt and Palestine, based on Islamic laws. The conference also aims to provide a wide platform for scholars to gather and exchange ideas on how the ummah could be served and remain united in the face of various crises," he said.
