Baku, February 18 (AzerTAc). Prominent Azerbaijani scientist, rector of the National Aviation Academy Arif Pashayev has been elected a full member (academician) of the Ukrainian Engineering Academy, which also conferred Engineering Glory award upon him.
In a congratulatory letter, the Ukrainian Engineering Academy called Mr. Pashayev “a talented organizer, a leader with a broad world view, a world-renowned scientist, and a noble man”.
The Academy said it decided to award Mr. Pashayev for his “outstanding contribution” to developing science and technology and strengthening the international cooperation.
