Azerbaijani scientist to attend SEAGA conference

The director of the ANAS Institute of Geography named after acad. H.Aliyev, head of the Azerbaijan Geography Society, academician Ramiz Mammadov has been invited by the Southest Asian Geography Association (SEAGA) of the People's Republic of China to attend the conference to be held in Shanghai on October 9-12.
The academician will participate at the event and deliver a report on the geographical researches in Azerbaijan, the Instiutte of Geography said.
Asia's rapidly development since XXI century, important economic and cultural development in the world-wide, the role of geographers in this direction and the Association's joint plan of cooperation with the Azerbaijani colleagues were expressed on the invitation signed by the president of SEAGA, professor Chang Chew Hung.
