Bulgarian Ambassador visits Azerbaijan State Economic University
Baku, February 4 (AzerTAc). Bulgarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Maya Khristova has visited the Azerbaijan State Economic University, where she met rector, MP Shamsaddin Hajiyev.
The rector spoke about the history of relationship between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria.
He noted that the State Economic University has signed agreements on cooperation with two universities of Bulgaria, which envisage student and teacher exchange. Hajiyev also added there was great potential to cooperate with several Bulgarian universities.
Khristova, in turn, noted the relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria were developing steadily.
She underlined the importance of bilateral cooperation in the field of science and education in terms of development of relationship between the two countries.
The Ambassador vowed to spare no efforts to contribute to expanding the State Economic University’s cooperation with Bulgarian higher education institutions.
