President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences visits Belarus
Baku, January 27 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), academician Akif Alizade, and chief of scientific-organizational department Aminagha Sadigov have visited Minsk, Belarus.
As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation participated in the international scientific-practical conference titled “Development of science and society with innovation”. Akif Alizade delivered a speech at the event.
The President of ANAS also met Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich.
During the meeting, Mr. Alizade made proposals concerning development of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of science and technology.
He also met his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Gusakov to discuss prospects for relations between both countries. They signed a protocol on bilateral cooperation.
During the trip, academician Alizade visited the National Library of Belarus.
