Saudi Ambassador visits Azerbaijan Institute of Manuscripts
Baku, January 25 (AzerTAc). Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Baku Musaid bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Salim has visited the Institute of Manuscripts under the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
He met the Institute`s acting director Pasha Karimov, who highlighted the history and activities of the ANAS.
They discussed various issues, including ways to boost relations between the two countries.
After viewing an exhibition of manuscripts, the Ambassador said he was ready to provide support for protection of “the rich heritage” at the Institute.
Karimov stressed the importance of cooperation in digitizing manuscripts.
