Bishkek, January 15 (AzerTAc). A commemoration ceremony to mark the 24th anniversary of the Black January tragedy will be organized by the Azerbaijan Embassy in Kyrgyzstan. The event will be attended by state and government officials of Kyrgyzstan, scientists and artists, members of the Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations, Azerbaijani students studying in Kyrgyzstan and journalists. The victims will be commemorated by a minute of silence on January 20. Azerbaijani ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Hidayat Orujov is set to speak of the history of the tragedy, Azerbaijani people`s struggle for independence and freedom, causes and consequences of the tragedy. The participants are scheduled to visit photo and book exhibitions featuring the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
