Representatives of American Jewish Committee have visited State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of Azerbaijan to meet its Deputy Chairman Sayyad Salahli.
Ordinary of Baku Catholic Church Vladimir Fekete, chairman of the Religious Community of the Mountain Jews of Baku Milikh Yevdayev, chairman of European Jews Baku Religious Community Gennadi Zelmanovich, "Hayat Sozu" (Word of Life) Protestant Community Head Rasim Khalilov attended the meeting.
Mr. Salahli highlighted the history of Jewish in Azerbaijan, saying the country`s government created the equal conditions for all confessions.
Rasim Khalilov spoke about the tolerance and multicultural environment in Azerbaijan.
Representative of The American Jewish Committee Adena Philips highlighted the problems existing with anti-Semitism in the world and praised Jewish` living in Azerbaijan peace and friendship.
