First Braille Quran in Azerbaijani language launched

The first Braille Quran in Azerbaijani language for the visually impaired has been presented in Baku.
The publication of the 7-volume book was financed by the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations.
Speaking at the ceremony, chairman of the state committee Mubariz Gurbanly said the book will be sent to all specialized schools and libraries in the country`s regions. He praised President Ilham Aliyev`s role in developing religious enlightenment and promoting religious values in the country.
Other speakers stressed the importance of the book, and hailed government-religion relations in Azerbaijan.
