2nd Eurasian forum of social sciences kicks off in Baku
Baku, December 21 (AzerTAc). The second Eurasian forum of social sciences “The new integration initiatives in Eurasia: Current situation and expectations” has started at the Azerbaijani State Economic University.
The forum was organized by the Azerbaijan State Economic University, Turkish Hacettepe University, Kyrgyzstan’s Manas University and Ahmet Yesevi International Turkic-Kazak University.
Opening the forum, rector of the State Economic University, professor Shamsaddin Hajiyev spoke about the significance of the event.
He said participants of the two-day forum would hear about 50 scientific reports from various countries.
The event will culminate in the adoption of a Final Declaration. A commission in order to establish an Economist Union of Turkic World will be set up at the forum, as well.
