President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (NASA), academician Akif Alizadeh has met Nature Publishing Group’s director for Middle East John Giuliani and sales group representative Elizabeth Detisova.
Mr. A. Alizadeh informed the delegation about the history, activities and achievements of NASA.
Speaking about the prospects for future cooperation, Alizadeh stressed the importance of the NPG publications which reflect the latest scientific achievements of domestic scientists.
The delegation informed about the history and current activities of NPG. They noted, the company was founded in 1869, has popular publications in the world's top-ranked journals such as “Nature”, “Scientific American” and others.
John Giuliani and Elizabeth Detisova highlighted the main products of the company.
The sides also discussed issues on expansion of ties.
