Azerbaijan, OIC discuss bilateral cooperation
Baku, November 25 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have explored ways of developing cooperation as Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board (CMB) Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has met Secretary General of the organization Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.
Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade praised cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OIC, and highlighted the prospects of these ties.
Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, in turn, stressed the importance of development of the Azerbaijan-OIC relations, and expressed confidence that the bilateral cooperation would be expanded even further.
Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov, Ambassador of Turkey to the country Ismail Alper Coskun were also present at the meeting.
