Chairman of the Caucasian Muslim Board Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahashukur Pashazade has met 11th President of Turkey Abdullah Gul.
Mr. Pashazade applauded the efforts of Abdullah Gul in “deepening friendly and fraternal” relations between Azerbaijani and Turkish States and nations.
The Chairman stressed the importance of participation of the former President of Turkey at the 3rd Global Baku Forum.
Abdullah Gul recalled his meetings held with Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahashukur Pashazade in Azerbaijan and in Turkey, saying the Chairman gave important efforts to developing religious-spiritual relations between the two fraternal countries.
Following the meeting, Mr. Pashazade handed over a keepsake to the former president of Turkey.
