Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan discuss cooperation in religious sphere
Baku, September 26 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan explored ways of developing cooperation in religious sphere, as Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has met chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kairat Mami in Astana.
They discussed development of cooperation in religious sphere, as well as expanding the interreligious dialogue.
Kairat Mami praised the services of national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani State Heydar Aliyev and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, adding this friendship today successfully continues by presidents Ilham Aliyev and Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Allahshukur Pashazade presented a book entitled “Muslims of CIS countries partners of peace and sustainable development” to Kairat Mami.
